Target Markdowns Worth Mentioning....

Hello All - so deals have been a bit on the slim side lately but I do have some exciting news for all my Target shoppers. Many of you know that Target does their HUGE baby and toy clearance markdowns twice a year (January and July). I have already seen *some* toys marked down 30-50% off but the big 70% off clearance will begin mid-late July so keep your eyes out.

To all my mommy readers who are expecting or have little ones. Be on the look out for lots of clothing, furniture, and baby items hitting 50-70% off in the next few weeks. I have noticed some apparel sets already reduced 50% off making for cheap baby clothing and a great time to stock up the baby gift closet if you have friends who are expecting.

Target: 90% Christmas Clearance

The New Year usually means new years resolutions and Target 90% off Holiday clearance. I had been stocking my store waiting for the 90% off markdown day. Most stores should be 90% off by now. Some started at 90% off on Friday, others went on Saturday and then rest went today (Sunday). The only thing about the 90% off sales (because its such a killer deal) the items fly off the shelves and Target only keeps items at 90% for a couple days so if you want to take advantage GO NOW and don't wait! Here is a pic of a few of the things I found. I was actually shocked to find Bounty Napkins at this price (.29 cents a pack) but one of the stores I went to had an overflow and the red from the back room was bringing out pallets full of paper products.

Halloween Clearance Update!

Seems like the holidays sneak up on us so quickly every year. Before the Halloween items have even been taken off the shelves the stores are decorated with Christmas decor. It's definitely my favorite time of year. I have been checking in to see what Halloween clearance finds are out there.

Target:
I have read reports that many Target stores have marked Halloween items 70% and Halloween Candy 50% off, dollar spot items 70% off.

Kroger:
Halloween items are 75% off, candy is marked down by the buggy load to $1.43 a bag.

Walmart:
All Halloween merchandise and candy is 50% off

Been Away but Back from Hiatus!

Hi All - I have been away the past couple of months - had a lot on my plate and needed to take a step back. Recently had a beautiful baby girl and so my time that I use to devote to blogging has now been taking over my feedings, baths, and diaper changes! Not to worry with the Black Friday sales gearing up I am back and will post my findings. I am also in the process of re-designing this website and will slowly begin making those changes. Chick-Fil-A: Cow Appreciation Day 7/13!

Moooooo! One of my absolute favorite restaurants is having their annual "Cow Appreciation Day" today - July 13th. Dress like a cow from head to toe and score a free meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner). If you can't dress like a complete cow you can always do a "partial" dress (i.e. spotted top, skirt, scarf, etc) and receive a free sandwich.
